What next?
Colorful birds in an exotic paradise is our next stop at the A.D. Martin Sr. Forest Aviary. How delightful to photograph birds at unbelievable closeness! Next we will move along the Nature Trail to the Kimberly-Clark Chimpanzee Forest where the chimps playfully await our arrival. We will then continue along the Nature Trail photographing meer-kats, rock hyrax, klipspringer, and the rare okapi. The Zoo staff will assist us all along the way, which gives us a great advantage in capturing many unusual photographic opportunities.

A visit to ZooNorth will allow us to photograph a variety of animals. The comical lemurs are our first stop. We should be able to see ringtails, black and white ruffed or collared lemurs. Next on our tour are the beautiful and exotic tigers located in the ExxonMobil Endangered Tiger Habitat. From a glass front viewing area, we will have an up-close chance to photograph the tigers as they jump from rock to rock. If time permits, the class will wrap up at the Bird & Reptile Building where we will have an opportunity to take close-ups of many exciting and exotic reptiles and birds. Participants are welcome to stay after the safari is over and take more photos for the remainder of the day.
