SUMMER CAMP INSTRUCTOR(S)
Part-time ONLY
Seasonal ONLY
Multiple Positions Available

We have multiple seasonal opportunities for Summer Camp Instructor(s). The Summer Camp Instructor(s) will be responsible for teaching Summer Camps during the 2010 season (June – August). Responsible for leading full and half day camps for children ages Pre-K - 8th grade, organizing activities, crafts, snacks, tours and live animal encounters. Also responsible for the set-up and clean up of daily activities and interacting with teen volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.A. /B.S. in Biology, Education or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one year experience working with animals in an educational setting preferred.
  • At least one year of teaching experience in a classroom, non-formal science center, zoo or nature center required.
  • Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
