Help support rhino conservation in Africa and Indonesia, including the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya; and the Ujung Kulon National Park in Java, Indonesia; and at the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park and Way Kambas in Sumatra, Indonesia. In addition, funds to protect rhino habitats also help elephants, cheetahs, Grevy’s zebras, Malayan tigers, Malayan sun bears and tapirs, Javan gibbons, and coral reefs too.
Since 1990, the national chapter of AAZK has raised more than $3 million through the Bowling for Rhinos fundraiser. Of the 100 organizations that raise money for this event, the Dallas Zoo chapter of AAZK ranks 5th in total money raised. Blue Rhino is the national sponsor of the event.
The American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) volunteer organization made up of professional zoo keepers and other interested persons dedicated to professional animal care and conservation.
