Thank you for joining us for this year’s Dollar Days Presented by Whataburger! These are some of our biggest and wildest days, but they are also some of our favorites! Dollar Days are our way of giving back, making the Zoo accessible for all, and saying “thank you” to our amazing community that supports us year-round.

Select your preferred date in our ticket purchase path to get your $1 admission tickets for those days.

  • Tickets and entry

For a smoother entry, please have your tickets ready to scan upon arrival. You’ll find your admission tickets in your email as QR codes our staff will scan, or log in here to view your tickets.

  • Parking is limited

Parking at the Zoo is limited, especially on busy days. To avoid traffic and parking issues, we recommend taking the DART Red Line straight to the Zoo’s entrance. Parking at the Zoo remains $12 (free for members), and fees will be collected at the front ticket booths upon entry.

  • Map out your day

Come with a plan. Take a look at a Map of the Zoo before you visit and figure out your must-sees, parking routes, and plans for the day.

  • Discounted drinks and snacks

We’ll have $1, $2, and $3 deals on select snacks and beverages, including popcorn, ice cream, canned drinks, and more!

  • Prepare for the weather

The forecast is looking HOT! Don’t forget to pack your sunscreen and be sure to stay hydrated throughout the day. HOT TIP: Bring a refillable water bottle to fill at the Zoo’s water refill stations!

  • Prepare for crowds

The Zoo is going to be crowded, so please be patient if you encounter long lines.

  • Stay cool with Whataburger

The Whataburger team will be on site both days handing out items to help you cool down, including Whataburger-themed cooling towels, fans, and more!
