Bring the wonders of the wild to your classroom and spark curiosity like never before. This spring, we’re diving into the extremes of the animal kingdom, from the biggest and strongest animals to the fascinating microscopic world. It’s an adventure you won’t want to miss!

Event Highlights

  • Wild Encounters – Head to the Wild Encounters Stage Presented by Kimberly-Clark Corporation to get up close with a variety of animals. Schedule: 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m.
    Wild Encounters schedule is subject to change depending on animal comfort level and the weather. 
  • Keeper Chats – Meet the experts! Discover fun facts and stories about your favorite Dallas Zoo animals from the zoologists who care for them. Keeper Chats are held outside of the corresponding animal habitat area. View schedules here.
  • Career Chats – Calling all middle and high school students! Join our Career Chats 15 minutes before each Keeper Chat to hear inspiring stories from our zoologists about their journey into animal care and get tips on how to pursue a similar career.
  • Zoo Crew and Camps – Looking for more ways to get involved? Check out our volunteer opportunities for students ages 13-17 and discover our exciting camps for K-8th graders — a great way to continue learning beyond your visit!
  • Partner Tables – Dive into hands-on learning with our educational partners. Enjoy interactive activities and explore fascinating displays that enhance your knowledge of wildlife and conservation.
