A special evening designed to celebrate the holidays in a sensory-friendly environment

The Dallas Zoo invites families and friends to Sensory Friendly Night at Dallas Zoo Lights Presented by Reliant to enjoy the magic of our holiday lights with reduced noise, crowds, and stimulation. This special evening allows our guests the opportunity to fully experience the enchanting wonders of the wild in a comfortable environment. Sensory Friendly Night at your Dallas Zoo is thoughtfully curated for individuals on the autism spectrum or those with sensory sensitivities.

Pricing:

  • General admission: $15 for youth | $19 for adults
  • Dallas Zoo Members: $11 for youth | $15 for adults
  • Children 2 and under are FREE

Plan Your night:

  • We encourage you to arrive close to 5:30 p.m. and stay for the magic of the night.
  • Sensory Friendly Night activities will be open until 8:30 p.m.
  • Parking will be at the main parking lot off of S R.L. Thornton Freeway.
    • Via car: Take the Ewing Ave. / Marsalis Ave. exit from I-35E. Our main entrance is located by the tall giraffe statue, on the northbound access road of I-35E.
    • Via DART: Take the DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) RED LINE to the Dallas Zoo Station.
